Aden Heritage & Country Fair

Treat the whole family to an enjoyable day out at the Aden Heritage & Country Fair. The fair takes place on Sunday 24th September, between 11am to 4pm, in the beautiful surroundings of Aden Country Park in Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire.
The event has been designed to celebrate the local culture and farming traditions unique to Aberdeenshire, illustrating what life was like for country people in the past and how it has shaped Aberdeenshire’s countryside today.
The Heritage & Country Fair has been designed to tie in with the hugely popular Vintage Tractor Working Day event which takes place in the Hareshowe Farm fields. The fair aspects will be held in the Aden courtyard area and will offer a ranage of locally made craft and farmer's market stalls, traditional scottish music, the family history society of Buchan, an exhibition of the morrison collection of rural photographs, vintage and classic cars, access to the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, and children's train rides.
There will also be a chance to relax with a cuppa or lunch at the Café at Aden, along with a browse in the Aden Craft & Gift Shop which offers a unique selection of locally made arts and crafts, including cards, bags, scarfs, and jewellery as well as a range of books, music, souvenirs, and children's toys, all at fair prices.
