Aden to celebrate with Traditional Folk Music
As part of the Aden Country Park 30th anniversary celebrations, the Ugie Folk Club will be holding an informal concert of traditional songs and tunes on Saturday 24th July, from 1pm to 3.30pm, at the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum in Aden Country Park, Mintlaw.
The concert is part of the Ugie Folk Festival which runs from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July. The weekend festival has been running for around fifteen years and revolves around a folk night with special guests, Friday, 8pm at the Crichie Inn, Stuartfield; concert at Aden Country Park, Saturday, 1.30pm; along with a grand concert featuring The McCalmans Final Tour, Saturday 7.30pm, closing with a folk session Sunday, 1pm, at the Crichie Inn, Stuartfield.
All events are free and are open to all age groups. Guests, members, and anyone prepared to perform will enjoy a very friendly weekend of singing, humour and traditional music. Come along to listen or join in.
