Films for all ages to be screened at Aden Cinema
A range of films aimed at all age groups are to be shown over the next few weeks in the Aden Country Park cinema. The unique Aden Theatre space is to screen the hilarious “Penguins of Madagascar” on Saturday 23rd May, take you through an emotional journey into our past with Scottish film archive footage “From Scotland with Love” on Thursday 28th May, along with showcasing the brilliantly animated family favourite "Shaun the Sheep Movie" on Saturday 6th June.
Tickets for each film are £5 for adults, £4 for concessions and £3 for under 16s and can either be bought online or from the Aden Craft & Gift Shop in the Aden Country Park. Due to the limited size of the Aden Theatre we would advise purchasing tickets ahead of performance to avoid disappointment.
The new cinema venture is being undertaken by Buchan Development Partnership (BDP) and the Friends of Aden Country Park in partnership with NEAT (North East Arts Touring) Flicks and Aberdeenshire Council.
Neil Shirran, Aden Development Worker said:
“After screening a few different genre films along with carrying out community consultation to establish the types of films folk wanted to see screened, we are delighted to be able to offer a range of films for all the family to enjoy. So why not treat you and your family to a family movie in Aden Country Park”.
Each film starts at 2pm and are rated Universal (U). Not only will the events offer an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon, but the timing of these screening have been planned to provide an ideal opportunity to visit the recently refurbished Café at Aden before each screening.
