As an estate, Aden was home to a wide variety of trees, both native and exotic. Over 200 years later, some of these original trees, both conifer and broadleaf, can be found on the medium length (1.6K) Tree Trail.
Starting and ending at the courtyard area the trail leads you out on well-established tree lined path that twists and turns until you reach the stunning Victorian Arboretum. The trail continues by then following the path that pass by the new arboretum, before returning you back to the central courtyard.
A new leaflet has been designed where a short description of each tree is included. Numbered marker posts have also been placed by each tree and are located on the map supplied below or alternatively from the Farming Museum.
The trail takes approximately one hour to complete and it is advisable to wear stout footwear as some areas may be damp or muddy.
