The Aberdeenshire Farming Museum is open from April until October. The museum is open Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm. (last entry at 3.30pm). Unfortunately Hareshowe Farm is not open to the public at the moment, we apologise for the inconvenience caused. Admission to the museum is free but donations are welcomed. The Aberdeenshire Recording Centre (ARC) is only open by appointment. If you would like to arrange a meeting or want to discuss recording in the studio please contact or email.
Unfortunately the Aden Café is not open at the moment. We are currently exploring different options so that we can get the cafe open as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Tea/coffee, ice cream and snack are however available from the Aden Craft & Gift Shop

The Book of Deer visitor centre is situated within the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum and therefore ties in with the Museum opening hours of April until October, open Thursday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm. The opening/closing times for the Coach House (Visitor Information Centre) toilet and also the main car park toilets (including the changing places toilet facilities) are as follows. The opening and closing of the other available toilets ties in with the opening and closing times of the buildings listed above.
