The Mintlaw & District Men’s Shed group is located in the newly renovated Gardener’s Cottage and yard area within Aden Country Park.

Men’s Sheds are community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness, isolation and improve mental health and wellbeing.

Men’s Shed membership is free and is open to all males 18 years and over living in Mintlaw and the surrounding area and villages. You do not need to be able to take part in practical tasks you are welcome to come along for a hot drink and a chat.

The Men’s Shed have been involved in lots of projects including replacing/ refurbishing electrical hook up boxes for Aden Caravan and Camping, building the Aden pond dipping platform, building planters for local businesses and helping local schools with gardening projects.
