As part of the Music at Aden series of events, the “Celebrating Irving Berlin” event will take place on 1st June 2024 at 2 pm in Old Deer Church of Scotland.

Irving Berlin was an American composer and lyricist, widely considered one of the greatest songwriters in history. During his 60-year career he wrote an estimated 1,500 songs, including the scores for 19 Broadway shows and 18 Hollywood films, with his songs nominated eight times for Academy Awards. Many songs became popular themes and anthems,
including “Easter Parade” and “White Christmas”.

Come and hear the story of Irving Berlin’s 100 years of life with beautifully familiar melodies and amusing anecdotes performed by three wonderfully talented musicians:
