Spooky Shadows & Ghostly Tales with Pauline Cordiner

As part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2025, we’re inviting all brave souls (ages 8–12) to a chillingly fun workshop at the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, in Aden Country Park, Mintlaw! Step into the shadows and let your imagination shine as we explore the mysterious “Lights of the North” through spooky stories and shadow puppet making.

Listen — if you dare — as we share local legends, including the ghostly monks of Deer Abbey… who may still be wandering the ruins at night! Get creative by crafting your very own shadow puppets, then bring them to life!
