Hand Puppet Workshop: Bringing Birds and Beasts to Life with Pauline Cordiner (11th Oct 2026, 1pm-2pm)

As part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival, the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum brings you an interactive family workshop introducing the art of hand puppetry.

Children aged 5+ and their grown-ups will discover how to bring a puppet to life through movement, voice and character.

Storyteller Pauline Cordiner will begin with a story before teaching techniques for making puppets look, sound and feel alive. Hand puppets can be provided for the workshop, or families are welcome to bring their own.

Donations on the day of £2 per child please, adults go free, Cash Only
